A campus tour was organized at the university for the guests from the State University of Management of the Russian Federation - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor E.F. Shamaeva, and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor A.A. Golovin.

The tour was conducted under the guidance of Senior Lecturer of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development, O.A. Zubova, and was aimed at familiarizing the guests with the activities of the university and the Chair, as well as fostering international cooperation.

As part of the visit, the guests toured the KazNU Library, the Kazakhstan - China Joint Laboratory «Remote Sensing Technology and Applications», the KazNU Supercomputer, as well as the laboratories of the Research Center for Sustainable Development and Rational Use of Natural Resources of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management.  

During the campus tour, representatives of the partner university became acquainted with the modern material and technical base of the faculty and the university as a whole. Following the meeting, together with the Head of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Professor T.A. Bazarbayeva, promising areas of cooperation between the universities in educational and scientific fields were outlined.

Special attention was given to the development of cooperation within the framework of SDG 17. «Partnerships for the Goals», aimed at strengthening international ties and implementing joint projects.
