On April 11, 2026, at 20:30 (Astana time), the international online event “I Am Proud of My Country” was held via Google Meet. The event was organized by senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages at Faculty of Philology: Z.S. Nessipbayeva, M.M. Myrzakhmet, E.I. Lugovskaya, and D.M. Makhmetova.
The main goal of the event was to foster patriotism, love for the homeland, and national spirit among young people, as well as to strengthen statehood. Its objectives included promoting respect for the country’s history and state symbols, developing the state language, popularizing traditions and customs, and cultivating responsibility for the defense of the 丕賱賵胤賳.
A total of 58 students participated in the event, including first-year undergraduate students of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, as well as students from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, China, and master’s students studying in Italy.
The event was dedicated to the traditions and holidays of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the event, students presented reports on state symbols and shared presentations about the celebration of Nauryz in their home regions. Presentations on national traditions, jewelry, clothing, and cuisine attracted particular interest.
The creative part of the program included performances of the songs “Atameken” by Eskendir Khasangaliev and “Otan” by Mukagali Makatayev, recitations of poems about Nauryz, and video performances by a dance group.
The event became a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and strengthening international student cooperation.
