Bridging Education and Industry: Developing Students’ Practical Competencies
Third-year students of the 6B07107 – “Electric Power Engineering” program participated in an educational seminar as part of the course “Commissioning and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment,” under the supervision of Senior Lecturer Zh.B. Igibayev. The seminar was held at the production facility of the electrical engineering company PF “Electroservice” LLP and aimed at enhancing students’ practical competencies by integrating theoretical knowledge with real industrial experience.

Since 1991, PF “Electroservice” has been a reliable and steadily developing company, playing a significant role in the domestic and Central Asian markets in the fields of installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
During the seminar, students
were introduced to real production processes, observed the operation of modern electrical equipment, and received comprehensive answers to their questions.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations, particularly:
- Quality Education – enhancing students’ practical skills and improving the quality of education;
- Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure – exposure to modern electrical engineering technologies and strengthening industrial competencies.
