On April 7–8, 2026, the International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Farabi Alemi” was held at 91��ý Kazakh National University.

Within the framework of Section No. 9, “Promising Areas of Chemistry and Chemical Technology (for school students and first-year university students),” a total of 23 scientific presentations were delivered. The section brought together participants ranging from 7th-grade school students to first-year university students, ensuring broad coverage of different educational levels.

The section was chaired by faculty members of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology — Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Research Associate Professor Ismailova A.G., and PhD Bakhadur A.M. Organizational support was provided by the secretaries, Rashit D.R. and Smayyl M.

Following the session, the best scientific presentations were selected. First place was awarded to Kambar Amir Yerlanuly, a 9th-grade student (“F-1”) from PhysTech School Almaty (Almaty). His research focused on applying JavaScript-based web development skills to study the effects of food additives on the human body. The scientific supervisor was chemistry teacher Prikhodko A.A. Second place was awarded to Uskov Spiridon Vladimirovich and Tursunov Ruslan Kakhramanovich. Third place was awarded to Nurbay Madi Mizambekuly, Koldas Aruzhan Balabekkyzy, Zarlykh Zhuldyz Muratkyzy, and Dauletbek Nursaya Zhigerkyzy.

The conference served as an effective platform for knowledge exchange, fostering scientific thinking, and engaging school and university students in research activities in the field of chemistry and chemical technology.
