Successful completion of scientific internship by undergraduates
Undergraduates of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling completed a scientific internship. 2nd-year undergraduates of the educational program "7M05409–Applied and Computational Mathematics" of 91传媒 Kazakh National University completed a scientific internship at the Department of Mathematical Physics and Modeling of the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling from March 30 to April 13.
During the internship, undergraduates got acquainted with modern methods of mathematical modeling, took part in scientific papers on numerical methods, participated in seminars of leading scientists, mastered methods of analysis and verification of mathematical models.
The scientific internship made it possible to put into practice the theoretical knowledge of undergraduates, contributed to the deepening of dissertation work and the formation of skills in working with a research group.
Cooperation with the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling strengthens the integration of education and science and plays an important role in the training of future scientific and pedagogical staff.
The MCM Department will continue similar internships aimed at developing the scientific potential of undergraduates.
