From March 13 to April 15, 2026, the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov hosted the international subject Olympiad “Healthy Nutrition – the Foundation of a Healthy Nation,” dedicated to World Health Day, Sustainable Development Goal No. 3, and Science Day. The Olympiad brought together students from higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, CIS countries, and other foreign universities.

Students of the 2nd–4th years of the “Public Health” educational program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Care of 91��ý Kazakh National University actively participated and demonstrated excellent results.

The Olympiad consisted of three stages:

1st stage – testing (selection round): students completed online tests;

2nd stage – video competition (selection round): participants prepared 1.5–2-minute videos on the topic of healthy nutrition;

3rd stage – research project defense, held on April 15 in both offline and online formats.

Based on the results of all three stages, the following students of the “Public Health” educational program won prize places:

• Aitbek Nazerke (scientific supervisor: Arynova G.A.), 4th-year student – 2nd place;

• Tilek Akerke and Aldangorova Inabat (scientific supervisor: Arynova G.A.), 4th-year students – 3rd place;

• Hadisa Kazemi, Fahima Ahadi, Maryam Ahadi (scientific supervisor: Raushanova A.M.), 3rd-year students – 2nd place.

Other participants who advanced to the third stage were awarded diplomas in various nominations and valuable prizes.
