On April 17, as part of the International Book Day celebrated on April 23, the curators of the Department of Language and General Education Training for Foreigners held a curatorial hour on the theme: "The book is the greatest miracle of all the wonders created by mankind (M.Gorky)". During the educational event, the mentors had a conversation with foreign students about the importance of reading books. In the age of the Internet and social media, it is very important to maintain reading skills. It's no secret that more and more people are inclined to read paper versions, preferring them to electronic and audio versions. The audience shared their impressions of the books they had read. As a result of the event, the conclusion was made about the need to read books to broaden horizons and deepen knowledge.
