Kazakh startup Seba Health impressed guests at Digital Farabi 2026 with its innovative solution
Today, the 17th of April, the founder of the Seba Health startup, Nafiz Mokerram, and the project supervisor, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Fundamental Medicine, Gulsara Akanova, participated in the Digital Farabi 2026 exhibition. This large-scale event brought together innovative startups, young researchers, and leading IT companies on one platform, providing an opportunity to showcase modern technologies and new ideas.
During the exhibition, 2nd-year student Nafiz Mokerram presented the Seba Health project in front of high-level guests, including the Rotating Chairman of UWEE Group and Advisor to the King of the Belgians, Gilbert Van Kerckhove, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, and the Chairman of the Board – Rector of 91ý Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev. For our team, this was an important experience and a great responsibility.

Seba Health is a medical startup aimed at optimizing the process of finding blood donors through digital technologies. The main goal of the application is to quickly and efficiently match donors based on blood type and other key parameters. The system integrates an AI-powered bot that answers users’ questions and helps identify suitable donors.
Potential donors first register in the application and are then directed to blood centers for medical screening. Only those who fully meet the medical requirements are included in the donor database. This system not only simplifies the donor search process but also improves its safety and quality.
The project addresses an important social issue — reducing the time required to find blood donors and improving access to donor assistance. In the future, the platform may also enable medical university students to find employment as social workers, expanding the project’s functionality and increasing its social impact.
