On April 15, 2026, at 91ý Kazakh National University, at the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory, under the supervision of Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assistant Professor E.K. Karbozov, Senior Lecturer Pazyl Bisenbaev, and Doctor of Philological Sciences, Assistant Professor G.Zh. Bolatova, first-year master’s students of the “Kazakh Philology” educational program — Arailym Yerubay, Kamila Niyetbayeva, and Aruzhan Turgyn — conducted an educational session for second-year students majoring in “Kazakh Philology” on the topic “I Admire Kazakh Girls,” within the framework of SDG 4 – “Quality Education.”

The purpose of the character-building session was to highlight the spiritual and moral identity of Kazakh girls, define their role in national upbringing, expand students’ historical awareness, and develop their creative abilities.

In Kazakh culture, a girl is a symbol of modesty, grace, beauty, and wisdom. Her role in national upbringing is особly significant, as she is a future mother, the keeper of the family hearth, and a reflection of society. Therefore, the upbringing of Kazakh girls and the formation of national values in them have always been highly valued. Today, the comprehensive development, education, and good manners of girls remain among the key priorities of society.

During the session on the topic “I Admire Kazakh Girls,” an educational and creative quiz was organized. The quiz consisted of three stages. In the first stage, participants were asked intellectual questions related to girls, which helped assess the students’ level of knowledge. The second stage included text-based questions aimed at testing the participants’ quick thinking. The third stage was creative: students were given four words and asked to compose a poem based on them.

In addition, a competition of proverbs and sayings was held among the students, testing their linguistic richness and national worldview. After that, the students were divided into four groups, each assigned a historical Kazakh female figure. Each group prepared and presented a poster about their assigned character. This task enhanced students’ research skills and deepened their knowledge of historical personalities.

During the event, students demonstrated active participation and teamwork. At the end of the session, the scores from all stages were calculated, the winning team was determined, and prizes were awarded.

The session concluded with a beautiful song, leaving the students in a positive and uplifting mood.
