«Constitutional Modernization: The People's Choice – The Country's Future»
A meeting with students on the topic "Constitutional Modernization: The People's Choice – The Country's Future" was held in Student Dormitory No. 16 of 91ý Kazakh National University. Organized by the Higher School of Economics and Business, the meeting was held.
Kanat N.Alikhan, Senior Lecturer and PhD student in the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, and Constitutional and Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law, Master of Laws, and PhD candidate, delivered an informative lecture and discussion.
The main goal of the meeting was to explain to students the nature and significance of the constitutional modernization process in Kazakhstan, the legal nature of the referendum, and to discuss the priority areas for the new stage of the country's socioeconomic development.
In his speech, Kanat N.Alikhan noted that the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the fundamental legal document defining the strategic direction of the state's development. He emphasized that constitutional modernization represents an important mechanism for improving the political system in line with the demands of the times, as well as for renewing economic and social institutions, presenting a scientific analysis of these processes.
The students were particularly interested in the impact of constitutional changes on human capital development and improving the quality of education, as well as the constitutional and political significance of the National Kurultai. Furthermore, issues of developing a legal culture among young people and enhancing civic responsibility were widely discussed.
During the meeting, the students asked questions of concern and received substantive and concrete answers. In conclusion, the participants expressed their gratitude to the speaker and noted the important role of such meetings in improving the legal literacy of young people.
