Scientists were presented with the possibilities of international programs
A meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Center for International Programs Abai Rakhmet was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The meeting was attended by Deputy deans for scientific and innovation activities and international relations, as well as heads of departments of the university faculties.
The event was dedicated to the issues of expanding the participation of teachers and young scientists of al-Farabi Kazakh National University in international educational and scientific programs.

During the meeting, a representative of the Center for International Programs spoke about the organization's activities. The Center, established in 2005 by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, administers international educational programs and projects aimed at developing scientific and academic cooperation.
Special attention was paid to the program of scientific internships initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The program provides Kazakhstani scientists with the opportunity to complete internships in leading foreign scientific centers lasting from 3 to 12 months.

Since the launch of the program, 1,237 Kazakhstani scientists have become participants. Graduates have made significant contributions to the development of healthcare, engineering, and environmental sciences. The program provides full financial support for participants, including a monthly stipend, airfare, visa fees, and study materials.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "Center for International Programs" noted: "The scientific internship program opens up wide opportunities for Kazakhstani scientists. It allows you to gain unique experience in the world's leading scientific centers, establish international contacts and introduce new approaches to domestic science. We see that graduates of the program make a significant contribution to the development of key sectors of the economy and the social sphere".

Information was also provided on intergovernmental educational grants implemented jointly with foreign partners. Among the partner countries are Hungary, China, Slovakia, Poland, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam. At the end of the meeting, Abai Rakhmet answered the questions of the participants.
