The third large-scale educational exhibition "Studying in China and the Chinese Language Exam" was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The event was attended by more than 30 leading higher educational institutions of the People's Republic of China, who presented their educational programs to Kazakhstani youth.

During the exhibition, schoolchildren and students received comprehensive information about China's higher education system, academic mobility, grant programs and types of scholarships. The participants also got acquainted with the requirements of the HSK international exam, which determines the level of Chinese language proficiency.

The solemn event was attended by Yerkin Duisenov, Deputy Chairman of the Board and First Vice–Rector of KazNU, Huang Xiaoming, Consul for Education of the People's Republic of China in Almaty, Liu Hiao Long, Deputy Director of the Beijing Chinese Language Testing Center, and Luo Jianbo, Director of the Institute of International Cultural Exchange at Fudan University.

Opening the meeting, First Vice-Rector Yerkin Duisenov stressed the importance of this event in strengthening scientific and educational ties between the two countries: "The educational exhibition organized today is a great dialogue platform for young people. For Kazakhstani applicants, studying abroad, gaining experience and learning about a new cultural environment are an important part of professional development. Such events open the way to the right choice for young people seeking knowledge",- said the first Vice–rector.

In turn, Consul Huang Xiaoming stressed the high pace of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the field of education. "Cooperation between our countries in the field of education is dynamically developing every year. Chinese universities offer extensive opportunities for international students, including Kazakh youth. We are always ready to support talented students, help them receive quality education and develop cultural exchange",- he said.

Within the framework of the exhibition, applicants were able to communicate directly with representatives of Chinese universities, receive specific advice on admission conditions and determine the direction of their future careers.
