On March 18, 2026, a doctoral student from the Faculty of Oriental Studies at 91��ý Kazakh National University shared her research insights on a prestigious international platform.

Zhazira Kurbanali, a 3rd-year PhD student majoring in "8D02209 – Oriental Studies" (Department of Chinese Studies), participated in the International Expert Seminar Series titled: "Cultural Heritage Management and Urban Sustainable Development: Joint Archaeological Research and Monument Protection." The event was organized by the Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT), China.

During the session, Zhazira Kurbanali delivered an online lecture titled: "China-Kazakhstan Cooperation in Cultural Exchange: Joint Archaeological Research and Protection of Historical Monuments on the Silk Road."

Highlights of the Event:

• The presentation drew significant interest from faculty members, PhD students, and prominent scholars at XAUAT.

• The discussion focused on the synergy between historical preservation and sustainable urban growth.

• Following the seminar, an agreement was reached to organize future meetings and collaborative projects focused on Kazakhstan’s archaeological research and the safeguarding of historical sites.
