IS THE UPDATED PROGRAM A GUARANTEE OF QUALITY EDUCATION?
On April 18, 20256, the 3rd year students of the specialty "6B01701 – Kazakh language and Literature participated "The updated program is a guarantee of quality education"? round table within the framework of SDG 4.
The purpose of the round table is to expand the professional outlook of future specialists of the Kazakh language and literature, discuss the effectiveness of updating the content of education and the formation of a debating culture and critical thinking skills among students.
The following questions were raised during the event:
- Ways to improve students' functional literacy;
- Pedagogical significance of the criterion assessment system;
- The continuity of national values and modern teaching methods. During the educational hour, the following active methods were used to engage students in the topic in depth:
- "Battle of Arguments": Students were divided into groups to comprehensively analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the updated program. Each participant presented specific arguments in accordance with their role and exchanged views in a debate format.
-SWOT analysis method: The groups systematically differentiated Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and threats of changes in the education system and proposed their solutions on a schedule.
- The "Rostrum of Leaders" method: at this stage, the group captains summarized the strategic ideas and made their final speeches. The emphasis was placed on the students' ability to defend their position and communicate with the audience.
- "Feedback pyramid": At the end of the event, the students systematized the information they received and summed up the key points for themselves.
The round table was held in the form of debates. The students were divided into two groups, conducted a comprehensive analysis of the relevance and specifics of the updated educational program, and systematically expressed their opinions.
The round table was attended by teachers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who were satisfied with the students' answers and shared their thoughts. In particular, associate professors of Berdak Karakalpak State University, Faculty of Karakalpak Philology and Journalism Allambergenova G. A., Usenova K. U., trainee teacher Atabayeva G. B. and assistant teacher Asamatdinova Z. S. took part, who highly appreciated the content of the educational hour and the Pedagogical search of the graduate student.
