AI Agents Cup Competition within the International Forum Digital Farabi 2026
On April 17, 2026, the international forum Digital Farabi 2026 was held at 91传媒 Kazakh National University, bringing together representatives of science, education, and industry to discuss current issues of digitalization and the development of artificial intelligence.
Within the framework of the forum, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data of the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence organized the AI Agents Cup competition. The competition aimed to identify and support talented students and young professionals in the field of intelligent systems and AI agent development. The main sponsor of the competition was Freedom Telecom.
Participants presented innovative solutions in the field of artificial intelligence, demonstrating a high level of preparation, creative thinking, and practical relevance of their projects.
The jury panel included leading experts in information technology and artificial intelligence:
- Saida Aldiyarovna Tastanova — PhD, Associate Professor, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi;
- Aibolat Qulatay — IT expert;
- Aisha Sailau — Researcher;
- Talshyn Sarsembayeva — Deputy Head for Research and Innovation, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data;
- Balzhan Abduali — Senior Lecturer, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.
The competition served as an important platform for knowledge exchange, showcasing advanced ideas, and strengthening collaboration between academia and the IT industry.
