Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as part of the official delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the 31st China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET 2026), held in the People's Republic of China.

This year's event covered the largest metropolitan areas of China – Beijing, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Wuhan and Shanghai.

During the exhibition, the KazNU delegation presented a wide range of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs, as well as double-degree education projects and academic mobility programs. The foreign participants were familiarized in detail with the scientific and research achievements, innovative developments of the university and the activities of its branches in Bishkek and Omsk.

Representatives of the university, led by Nurken Abdigali, Director of the Department of Internationalization and Recruiting, organized consultations for applicants in each city, explaining the conditions of admission and the advantages of studying at KazNU. During the exhibition, a number of negotiations with foreign partners also took place, during which issues of student exchange, the implementation of joint research projects and the expansion of international cooperation were discussed.

The information and consulting work of specialists from international departments was aimed at strengthening the authority of KazNU in the global educational space and increasing the interest of foreign applicants. Participation in CIEET 2026 helped strengthen the university's international position and gave a new impetus to the work on attracting international students.
