KazNU to develop Master's degree program with international partners
A trilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the International Institute of Water Resources Management (IWMI) and the Kazakh National University of Water Management and Irrigation.
The agreement, concluded within the framework of the Regional Environmental Summit in Astana, is aimed at strengthening strategic partnership in the field of water resources management, water diplomacy and hydrometeorology.

Within the framework of the document, the parties agreed to jointly develop and implement a master's degree program in Water Diplomacy. In addition, cooperation involves the exchange of scientists, teachers and experts, conducting joint research, participating in international grant projects, as well as organizing large-scale conferences and symposiums.


It is planned to develop a special roadmap for the systematic development of the partnership. In turn, the international organization International Water Management Institute confirmed its readiness to provide full expert and organizational support to the project within the framework of the Blue Peace Central Asia initiative.
