Key Issues Discussed at the Department Meeting

On April 21, 2026, during the department meeting chaired by T.A. Bazarbayeva, Head of the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development, a comprehensive and systematic overview of the AI-SANA course was presented. The course is being implemented at the national level and is included in the university’s strategic plan. Its main directions, goals, and objectives, as well as the specific features of the academic and research process, were thoroughly explained. The meeting also included an in-depth discussion of the course’s teaching and methodological content and the mechanisms for its implementation.

In addition, to ensure effective organization of the educational process, 229 students of the department advanced to the second stage of the course. It was noted that the course contributes to improving the quality of education, supports step-by-step learning of academic material, and allows for optimal distribution of the academic workload. During the meeting, curators exchanged views on key issues related to monitoring students’ academic performance and enhancing the quality of education. The issues discussed correspond to the direction of SDG 4 - "Quality education", since it is aimed at improving the quality of education, effective organization of the educational process and improvement of the academic management system.
