Master’s Students Presented the Results of Their Research Work and Academic Internships

A departmental session was held at the university, during which second-year master’s students of the educational programs Tourism and Restaurant and Hotel Business presented the results of their research work.

During the session, the students reported on the current progress of their master’s theses and shared updates on their research articles. They presented the level of readiness of their dissertations, outlined the main areas of their studies, and discussed the development of their scientific publications.

Particular attention was given to the results of academic internships. Master’s students of the Tourism program completed an academic internship at Universiti Putra Malaysia, where they became acquainted with modern approaches to tourism development, sustainable practices, and current academic research in the field. At the same time, master’s students of the Restaurant and Hotel Business program completed their internship at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana. During their reports, they spoke about the significance of this internship for their academic and professional development and explained how the acquired experience contributes to their master’s research.

In addition, students who completed internships at the Institute of Geography and Water Security shared detailed reports on how the internship process was organized, what knowledge and practical skills they gained, and how they are applying them in the preparation of their master’s dissertations.

At the end of the session, it was noted that the master’s students are actively engaged in research activities, demonstrate a high level of academic preparation, and effectively integrate the knowledge and experience gained during their internships into their scientific work.
