The New Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan: The Foundation of a Renewed Model of the State

  On April 21, 2026, a meeting on the topic “The New Constitution and Modern Society” was held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of 91ý Kazakh National University, with the participation of faculty members, doctoral students, master’s students, and undergraduate students of the faculty.

  As part of the event, A.A. Aryn, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of the Faculty of Law at 91ý Kazakh National University, delivered a lecture on the topic “The New Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan: a New Model of the State, the Individual, and Public Authority.”

  During the lecture, the key provisions of the New Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its conceptual foundations, as well as the significance of constitutional reforms for the development of modern society were presented and discussed.

  At the end of the lecture, faculty members and students asked questions, actively participated in the discussion, and exchanged views on the most relevant aspects of the country’s constitutional development. Such an open academic dialogue once again confirms the strong interest in issues of constitutional development and the future of our country.
