Webinars for students were held at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences
A series of webinars for students was held at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences of 91ý Kazakh National University to explain the procedures for the 2025–2026 summer examination session. The events were conducted online, which made it possible to reach a large number of students and ensure broad access to information for learners at all levels of education. The webinars were conducted by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Methodological Affairs with the participation of Deputy Heads of Departments for Academic, Methodological and Educational Work.
During the meetings, students were provided with detailed information on the examination calendar, exam formats, educational platforms to be used, academic integrity requirements, proctoring rules, as well as the procedure for reviewing “FX” and “Incomplete” grades. Particular attention was paid to compliance with established rules during examinations. Participants were reminded of the prohibition on the use of mobile phones, earphones, smart watches, cheat sheets and other auxiliary tools, as well as the inadmissibility of seeking assistance from third parties.
In addition, students were informed about the specific features of exams conducted in both online and offline formats, the minimum GPA requirements for progression to the next academic year, as well as the procedure for submitting supporting documents and the алгоритм for reviewing requests based on valid reasons. During the webinars, students received answers to current questions related to the organization of the examination process, the monitoring system and compliance with established regulations. This format of interaction made it possible not only to deliver important information in a timely manner, but also to increase students’ awareness, reduce the number of possible violations and strengthen a responsible attitude toward the educational process. The webinars became an effective platform for open dialogue between the faculty administration and students ahead of the summer examination session. Holding such informational and explanatory events contributes to improving the quality of the educational process, strengthening students’ academic responsibility, and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education.
