Kazakh students will receive grants from the University of China
Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received a delegation from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law headed by the Secretary of the party Committee Hou Zhenfa.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the dynamic development of academic ties between the two educational institutions. The guest of honor Hou Zhenfa noted the high efficiency of the partnership with KazNU. For example, to date, 30 KazNU students have already successfully completed their studies and internships at Zhongnan University, and 11 more students are currently continuing their studies.
"Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is one of the leading universities in Central Asia. We are maximally interested in strengthening this partnership. To this end, we plan to allocate special grants for the education of Kazakhstani youth at the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law",- Hou Zhenfa stressed.
In turn, the rector of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, highly appreciated this initiative and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation with the Chinese university in humanitarian and technical areas. The Rector emphasized the importance of joint research projects and experience exchange programs for both countries.
Following the talks, the parties signed a bilateral memorandum on expanding academic cooperation. The document provides for the implementation of new educational programs and increased mobility of students and teachers.
