“Share Your Knowledge” Book Exchange Fair
A book exchange fair titled “Share Your Knowledge” was organized at Dormitory No. 7 of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. The main objective of the event was to increase students’ interest in reading, promote a reading culture, and practically demonstrate the principle that “Those who read succeed.”
During the event, students brought books they had already read and no longer used, exchanging them with other participants. This initiative not only gave books a “second life” but also contributed to the revival of spiritual values among students and encouraged the exchange of knowledge and experience. In addition, the fair provided participants with an opportunity to explore new literature and expand their personal book collections.
Active participants included Mominuly Yersultan, Bekbolatuly Nursham, Dosan Balzhan, Nurgaliyeva Dana, and Seisenbek Gulbar. They presented a number of well-known works that had made a strong impression on them. Among the featured books were works by Agatha Christie, “Atomic Habits” by James Clear, “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki, “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” by Yuval Noah Harari, and “The Psychology of Money” by Morgan Housel.
These books cover areas such as personal development, financial literacy, history, and psychology, and were recognized as valuable resources contributing to the comprehensive development of students. Participants actively exchanged opinions and shared their impressions of the books they had read.
The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere and gave a strong boost to students’ interest in reading. Such initiatives will undoubtedly continue in the future, contributing to the enhancement of the intellectual potential of young people.
