Intellectual Game "Financial Security: Investment or Fraud?"

On April 22, 2026, the Faculty of Philology hosted the intellectual game "Financial Security: Investment or Fraud?" as part of the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The main purpose of the event was to improve students’ financial literacy, develop their ability to distinguish between legitimate investments and fraudulent schemes, and promote responsible financial decision-making in line with SDG 8.

During the event, first-year students participated in interactive tasks and case-based discussions. Participants explored topics such as financial markets, types of investments, signs of online fraud, and personal finance management.

The game included logical challenges, case analysis, and debates, which contributed to the development of critical thinking and analytical skills.

Special attention was given to raising awareness of financial security among youth, preventing fraud, and fostering sound investment habits. At the end of the game, the most active participants were awarded and received recommendations for improving their financial literacy. This initiative contributed to students’ ability to navigate the modern economic environment and make informed financial decisions.

Organizers: 1st-year students of the "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages" major and Lecturer Arailym Akzhigitova.
