On April 22, 2026, the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at 91��ý Kazakh National University hosted a vocational guidance event for high school graduates - "Open House Day."

The event was organized and coordinated at a high professional level by the Associate Professor N.A. Altybayeva. During the meeting, students were introduced to the department's educational programs and the prospects of future career paths. Furthermore, the students visited research laboratories, where they observed the latest achievements of modern science and engaged in open discussions with faculty members and university students.

During the event, PhD student Arailym Ergalikyzy Yerzhan gave a special presentation to the high school students. She shared her personal journey in science, explaining the essential skills and academic rigor required to pursue a doctoral degree. Additionally, she provided invaluable information on securing research internships at leading international universities, offering the students clear guidance and professional orientation.

This meeting served as a significant first step for students toward a future career in genetics and provided substantial motivation for their professional choices.
