On April 24, 2026, the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure, Labor Law of the Faculty of Law at 91��ý Kazakh National University held its annual International Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the memory and the 60th anniversary of Doctor of Law, Professor Irina Viktorovna Amirkhanova.

The conference theme, “Legal Mechanisms for the Protection of Entrepreneurs in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Administrative Supervision,” generated significant academic and practical interest, bringing together representatives of the academic community, legal practitioners, and public institutions.

The event was moderated by Talgat Tuleuovich Balashov, Head of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law at 91��ý KazNU, Doctor of Law, Acting Professor, and Guliya Bokeshovna Mukaldieva, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by Erkin Ermanovich Duisenov, Doctor of Law, Professor, Deputy Chairman of the Board – First Vice-Rector of 91��ý KazNU, and Ualikhan Akypbekovich Akhatov, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Law.

The conference was attended by E.A. Buribayev, Doctor of Law, Professor, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, E.Sh. Dusipov, Doctor of Law, Professor, faculty members of Tashkent State University, N.V. Kusyapova, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, representative of the Almaty City Bar Association, B.Zh. Saparov, PhD, Director of the Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts of the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University, T.O. Kuanov, Chairman of the Almaty Regional Branch of the Sectoral Trade Union of Healthcare Workers “SENIM,” Candidate of Medical Sciences, and A.D. Orazgali, Director of Eco-Trend LLP, member of the Public Council of Almaty, Master of Law.

During the event, a ceremonial awarding of the I.V. Amirzhanova Named Scholarship was held. Shonabay Saltanat, a first-year Master's student enrolled in the educational program 7M04217 – "Jurisprudence", was awarded this scholarship in recognition of her outstanding academic achievements.

As a result of the conference, recommendations were formulated to improve the civil legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, strengthen legal mechanisms for the protection of business, and enhance the effectiveness of cooperation between the state, the business community, and the academic community.

The conference served as an important platform for the exchange of scientific ideas, strengthening professional ties, and developing practical recommendations for the advancement of the legal system under modern conditions.
