KazNU lawyers won a bright victory in the "Amicus Curiae Challenge"!

The team of the Law Faculty of 91ý Kazakh National University took 1st place in the Amicus Curiae Challenge competition among students of higher educational institutions, organized by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the OSCE and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.  

The competition was organized by judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Zhatkanbaeva Aizhan Erzhanovna and Kydyrbaeva Aigul Kuanyshbaevna.

The team was prepared by teachers of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law: Doctor of Law, Professor A.S. Ibrayeva; Candidate of Law, Professor, Head of the Department K.R. Useinova; Candidate of Law, Assistant Professor D.A. Tursynkulova.  

The team consists of 3rd year students:

3. Ablazimov Zhanmukhamed Makhsutkhanovich
 
2) The purpose of the Competition is to promote the strengthening of the rule of law, enhance legal culture, and constitutional legality.

The objectives of the Competition are: formation of skills in written legal analysis; development of the ability to argue a legal position on the merits; familiarization with the sources of constitutional law and judicial practice; development of public speaking skills and procedural culture.
 
3) The competition was organized by among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The competition was held at two stages. The first stage - "piss in the water". Here, the team analyzed the right problem, gotovi pussy the right spell amicus curiae.  At the end of the first stage, the team was taken to participate in the second stage. Three teams of students of the legal Faculty of kaznu im. 91ý visited the second stage.  The participants recorded a video (up to 60 seconds) with the content of the correct position, published in amicus curiae.

At the II (second) stage, the team got a permanent presentation of the position of amicus curiae, emphasizing the introduction of logic in arguments; oratorical statements; the termination of the judicial process; the seduction of the established regulations.
All 17 teams took part in the competition.
 
4) Students of the legal faculty showed high levels of legal knowledge, skills and abilities in preparing the right position with the purpose of protection of rights and their people within the framework of the constitutional law, they said in the Institute for the development of "amicus curiae".
