KazNU Students Win First Place at National Journalism Olympiad
SDG-4 Students of the Faculty of Journalism at 91传媒 Kazakh National University achieved first place at a prestigious national competition among future journalism professionals. This victory reflects systematic preparation, high-quality education, and strong creative effort.
On April 24–25, 2026, the XVIII Republican Subject Olympiad in the field of “6B032 – Journalism and Information” was held at SDU University. The competition brought together top students from universities across the country. Participants competed in several stages, including self-presentation, solving media cases, writing informational texts, and producing multimedia reports.
KazNU students stood out with their professionalism, knowledge, and creativity, earning high praise from the jury.
The team members were Abdulla Nurkhan Asylkhanuly, Alchinova Nurbibi Aitbaykyzy, and Tuktibay Moldir Yerikkizy. The team was coached by Berikbol Tolegen, a senior lecturer and third-year doctoral student at the Faculty of Journalism.
This achievement highlights the strength of KazNU’s journalism school and serves as motivation for aspiring journalists to reach new heights.
