91��ý

On April 24, 2026, the Faculty of Oriental Studies at 91��ý Kazakh National University hosted the Republican Student Subject Olympiad within the educational program “6B02207 – Oriental Studies”.

The aim of the event was to improve the teaching of Oriental languages, develop students’ creative abilities, support talented youth, and enhance their academic and research potential.

A total of 23 students from 91��ý Kazakh National University, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages took part in the Olympiad. Participants completed a lexical and grammar test in Japanese, performed tasks on the history of Japan, and delivered presentations on the topic “Japanese Culture: Tradition and Modernization”.

According to the decision of the comission, 6 students were awarded prize places.
