Kazakh School Student Wins the 45th Beijing Youth Science Creation Competition (BYSCC)

A 10th-grade student of School-Gymnasium No. 5 in Almaty, Kibarov Amirali, has won the 45th Beijing Youth Science Creation Competition (BYSCC), held in Beijing.

His chemistry project titled “Combination of Iodine and Carbon for Environmentally Safe Electrical Energy Storage” received the highest evaluation from the international jury. This achievement highlights the high level and strong potential of young Kazakh researchers.

Congratulations to Amirali, his scientific advisor PhD, Associate Professor (Docent) of 91ý Kazakh National University Supieva Zhazira Assylbekovna, as well as his scientific supervisor and chemistry teacher at School-Gymnasium No. 5, Ongarbaeva Zhanar Siyazbekovna, on this well-deserved gold award.

The Beijing Youth Science Creation Competition is a major international science fair for school students and youth, held annually in Beijing since 1981. It is organized by the Beijing Association for Science and Technology.
