A Round Table on “Clean Nature – A Bright Future” Was Held

On April 15, 2026, as part of the Week of Science and Natural Sciences, an educational and meaningful meeting was organized for students of School-Lyceum No. 169 in the Alatau district of Almaty. The event was attended by K.K. Kulymbet, PhD, Senior Lecturer at 91ý Kazakh National University, who conducted a round table on the topic “Clean Nature – A Bright Future.”

The main purpose of the meeting was to improve students’ environmental literacy, develop a scientific view of nature, foster a responsible attitude toward environmental protection, and inspire young people’s interest in science. Today, when environmental issues are becoming increasingly relevant, such events are of particular importance. Caring for nature, protecting land and water, and preserving the cleanliness of the environment are common responsibilities of every citizen.

During the event, students demonstrated their knowledge of nature and soil through practical experiments. In particular, they conducted experiments to determine soil moisture, porosity, and fertility, and shared the results of their research. These activities helped students combine theoretical knowledge with practice and increased their interest in scientific inquiry.

In addition, during the meeting, students recited poems on the themes of nature, homeland, and the environment, and presented their talents. Their creativity and active participation enriched the content of the event. The harmony of science and art made a special impression on the students.

The round table was held in the format of an open dialogue. Students asked questions of interest and exchanged views with the scientist. Meaningful discussions took place on soil fertility, ecological balance, environmental protection, preservation of green areas, and future career choices. Such meetings undoubtedly broaden students’ horizons, develop their scientific worldview, and help them choose the right path for their future profession.

At the end of the meeting, participants emphasized that protecting nature is the key to a bright future. The students understood the importance of developing environmental culture and the need to treat the environment with care and responsibility.
