Open Day Held at the Faculty of Journalism
SDG-4 On April 27, 2026, an Open Day for prospective students was organized at the Faculty of Journalism. The event began at 11:00 AM in Room 230 on the second floor of the faculty building.
Students from several schools in Almaty participated in the Open Day. In particular, prospective applicants from general education schools and specialized lyceums actively took part in the event and became acquainted with the life of the faculty.
During the event, participants were registered, welcomed, and provided with informational materials. In addition, an exhibition of students’ creative works was presented, giving guests the opportunity to 芯蟹薪邪泻芯屑懈褌褜褋褟 with the achievements of the faculty’s students.
As part of the meeting, the faculty’s academic staff engaged in open discussions with prospective students, providing detailed information about the educational process and learning opportunities. Moreover, the professors conducted master classes, allowing participants to gain deeper insight into the field of journalism.
The features of the following educational programs were introduced to the attendees: “B6B042 Journalism and Reporting,” “B029 Audiovisual Technologies and Media Production,” and “B031 Fashion and Design.”
Guests also explored the M. Barmankulov TV Studio, the N. Imangaliuly Educational and Research Laboratory, and the “Turksoy” Media Education and Research Center. These presentations helped future students better define their professional interests.
At the end of the event, participants took commemorative photos, and the Open Day concluded in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
