On April 28, 2026, a cultural and educational event titled “Under One Shanyrak: A Celebration of Friendship and Unity” was held at Student Dormitory No. 17 of the Faculty of Philology of 91��ý Kazakh National University. The event was dedicated to May 1 — the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the event was to promote the values of friendship, harmony, mutual respect, unity, and intercultural communication among students in celebration of the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.

At the beginning of the event, participants were given brief information about the meaning and significance of the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan. Students exchanged their views on unity, friendship, harmony, and mutual respect, and discussed the importance of this holiday in society.

As part of the meeting, an interactive activity titled “Unity for me is...” was organized. Students shared their thoughts on the concept of unity, associating it with friendship, understanding, support, respect, and harmony.

In addition, an educational quiz dedicated to the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan was held for the participants. Students actively answered questions about the history of the holiday, interethnic harmony in the country, and the values of friendship and unity.

During the event, students completed a creative task on the theme “Under One Shanyrak” and presented their ideas reflecting friendship and unity. To create a festive atmosphere, a dastarkhan featuring dishes of different nationalities was prepared. Students spoke about the distinctive features of various national dishes and demonstrated the importance of friendship and respect among cultures. Informal conversation at the dastarkhan contributed to the warm and sincere atmosphere of the event.

At the end of the meeting, the participants congratulated one another on the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan and took memorable photos. The event contributed to strengthening friendly relations among students and promoting the values of mutual respect and unity.
