On April 24, 2026, 91ý Kazakh National University hosted the II Stage of the National Student Subject Olympiad for the educational program "6В02301 – Foreign Philology (Chinese Language Section)."

The competition featured 2nd to 4th-year students from leading higher education institutions in Kazakhstan, including 91ý Kazakh National University (KazNU), Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, and Karaganda Buketov University.

The Olympiad was organized into two rounds. The first round consisted of internal selections within each participating university, while the second and final round was held at KazNU. The final round comprised two distinct stages:

  1. Proficiency Testing: An examination covering Chinese grammar and comprehensive regional studies.

  2. Presentation: Students presented on assigned topics, demonstrating their linguistic fluency and public speaking skills.

Out of the 10 finalists who competed in the second round, Nuray Manapova, a 2nd-year student at 91ý Kazakh National University, was awarded First Place. Her victory was achieved under the guidance of her supervisor, A.S. Koibakova.

The Olympiad showcased a high level of academic excellence and professional competence among future Sinologists. We congratulate the winner and her mentor on this significant achievement!
