The session was designed to strengthen students’ professional orientation, enhance their academic potential, and increase their readiness to participate in the international educational environment. During the event, the concept of academic mobility and its role in improving students’ knowledge, language competence, research activity, and intercultural communication skills were discussed in detail. Students were also introduced to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Semester Abroad” program, the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship, the Abai–Verne program, Erasmus+ KA107, the Bolashak scholarship program, and the National Scholarship Program of Slovakia. The master’s students explained the eligibility requirements, the application stages, GPA and language proficiency expectations, and the importance of a well-written motivation letter. Special attention was given to the application procedure for academic mobility, the selection of a host university, inter-university agreements, and how to properly highlight the advantages of each program. The next part of the event focused on CV writing strategies. Students were introduced to the structure of a CV that meets international standards, as well as the correct formatting of personal information and the sections on education, research experience, work experience, publications, awards, language proficiency, and skills. In addition, they received useful advice on using keywords, action verbs, avoiding unnecessary or inaccurate information, and submitting the document in PDF format. In the practical part, students were shown a sample CV and the structure of a motivation letter, and the most common mistakes were analyzed. Through group discussion and a question-and-answer format, the students freely expressed their opinions and received useful information about opportunities to participate in academic mobility programs. In addition, examples of KazNU graduates who studied or completed internships at foreign universities were presented, which added a strong motivational component to the event. Overall, the educational session was organized at a high level, attracted strong interest from students, and had a positive impact on their desire to take part in academic mobility. The information and practical recommendations provided during the event will help students plan their academic and professional future more consciously.
