On April 29, in celebration of May 1 – the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, an educational event titled “The Light of Unity and Harmony – May 1” was organized at our faculty.

Currently, more than 90 international students study at the faculty. In this regard, the main goal of the event was to strengthen friendly relations among representatives of different nationalities, foster respect for cultural diversity, and promote mutual understanding and cooperation. In addition, special attention was given to promoting the unity and harmony of the people of Kazakhstan, developing students’ sense of patriotism, and cultivating a culture of tolerance in a multicultural environment.

During the event, students from Turkmenistan, Syria, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, and China presented the cultures and traditions of their countries and shared interesting information about their national characteristics. They also congratulated everyone on the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance of friendship and cooperation.

As part of the event, national costumes were showcased, and the traditions and values of different nations were widely presented. An active cultural exchange took place, increasing students’ interest in the art and worldview of various peoples.

The event had a positive impact on strengthening unity among the multinational students of the faculty and contributed to the development of mutual respect and harmony.
