An educational session “More Knowledge is in Books” dedicated to Book Day was held at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology.

As part of pedagogical practice, on April 22, 2026, at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of 91ý Kazakh National University, master’s students of the 7M05102 – “Biomedicine” program, under the supervision of Candidate of Biological Sciences, Professor N.T. Ablaikhanova, together with PhD, Senior Research Fellow A.E. Yesenbekova, conducted an educational session titled “More Knowledge is in Books,” dedicated to Book Day. The event aimed to promote spiritual and moral values, increase students’ interest in reading, and foster national identity.

During the session, an in-depth analysis of the 7th, 22nd, and 25th Words of Edification by Abai Kunanbayev was carried out, highlighting their relevance in modern society. Participants discussed key themes such as human nature, ethics, the pursuit of knowledge, diligence, and spiritual growth, emphasizing the profound philosophical significance of Abai’s legacy.

The program included the following activities:

  • Analytical discussion of Abai’s Words of Edification;
  • Exploration of the role of education and science in societal development;
  • Student discussions and exchange of ideas;
  • Development of critical thinking and argumentation skills.

The event was attended by master’s students of the 7M05102 – “Biomedicine” program and 3rd-year undergraduate students of the 6B05108 – “Biomedicine” program, with a total of 23 participants.

The educational session contributed to enhancing students’ spiritual awareness, strengthening their appreciation of national values, and fostering a sustained interest in reading and self-development. The event had a positive impact on the personal and professional growth of future specialists.
