XVIII Republican Subject Olympiad among University Students in the Educational Program “6B05103 – Biotechnology”
On April 28, 2026, the closing ceremony, summary of results, and awarding of winners of the Republican Student Olympiad in the educational program “6B05103 – Biotechnology” was held at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of 91ý Kazakh National University.
The event took place in Room 214 of the faculty, where the results of the Olympiad were announced and the best-performing supervisors, participants, and teams were awarded. In addition, an educational campus tour was organized for supervisors and participants.
The Olympiad was conducted in an offline format and consisted of two rounds. In the first round, participants completed a written test on core subjects of the specialty, while in the second round they performed practical (laboratory) tasks in plant physiology and microbiology. These stages enabled a comprehensive assessment of students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
During the Olympiad, participants engaged in a highly competitive, intense, and intellectually rich scientific contest. Each team demonstrated a high level of preparation, knowledge, and professional competence.
