Research Internship as part of the Spring Meetings 2026 in Washington
From April 13 to 18, 2026, the Head of the Department of Economics, Dauliyeva G.R., and PhD, Associate Professor–Researcher Kaliyeva A.E., participated in the Spring Meetings held in Washington, D.C. (USA) within the framework of the AP23489032 grant project, organized by the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.
The Annual and Spring Meetings organized by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group brought together central bank governors, ministers of finance and development, private sector leaders, representatives of civil society, and academics from around the world on a single platform. These meetings addressed key issues of the global economy, including growth prospects, financial stability, and poverty reduction.
These meetings are unique in nature and represent an unparalleled global platform for comprehensive discussions on economic policy, while also providing valuable opportunities and new insights for research on poverty, inequality, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
