Today, an Open Day was held at 91传媒 Kazakh National University at the Faculty of Philology. The event was attended by school students from across the city, who had the opportunity to explore the university’s educational opportunities.
During the event, prospective applicants were introduced in detail to the main academic areas of the Faculty of Philology, including the programs “Foreign Philology” and “Translation Studies.” Each department presented the distinctive features of its academic programs, the structure of the learning process, and the career prospects available to future graduates.
Students were provided with comprehensive information about the skills they would acquire during their studies, the importance of learning foreign languages, and the role of translation in contemporary society. The teaching staff also answered students’ questions and offered professional guidance.
Following the departmental presentations, the students visited the university museum and library, where they gained deeper insight into the history of the university and its academic environment.
Overall, the Open Day was well organized and proved to be both informative and engaging for the participants. The event contributed to helping prospective students make more informed decisions about their future academic and career paths.
