On April 30, 2026, an Open Day was held at the Faculty of Philology of 91传媒 Kazakh National University. Graduating students from Gymnasium No. 15, Schools-Gymnasiums No. 145 and No. 174, the Republican Abai School, and Lyceum School No. 207 in Almaty attended the event and became thoroughly acquainted with the faculty’s educational system.
The purpose of the event was to introduce applicants to philology-related majors and provide career guidance. The opening speech was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bayan Zholdasbekova, who presented information about the faculty’s programs. In addition, specialists from the A. Baitursynov Department of Kazakh Linguistics spoke about the scientific and educational potential of the faculty, emphasizing the importance of quality education and the foundations of becoming a professional specialist.
During the meeting, departments presented their academic programs, and students received detailed information about the educational process and student life. Interactive games were organized, and active participants were awarded.
The Open Day provided applicants with an opportunity to make a well-informed choice of their future profession.
