SDG 15. “EcoCouncil” within the “Taza Kazakhstan” Project: A Step Toward Environmental Culture

The “Taza Kazakhstan” project being implemented in our country is one of the key initiatives aimed at fostering environmental awareness and a culture of nature conservation.

Within the framework of this project, an “EcoCouncil” campaign was organized at the Department of Pre-University Training of the Faculty of Pre-University Education among students and instructors. The event promotes environmental protection and efficient resource use through the collection of waste paper.

The main objective of the campaign is to enhance environmental literacy among students by encouraging the recycling of paper products that are widely used in everyday life but are often discarded as unnecessary waste. It also aims to instill a caring attitude toward nature and strengthen a sense of environmental responsibility.

By developing a culture of recycling, we can reduce the burden on the environment and leave a clean and safe world for future generations. Therefore, every citizen should contribute to simple yet meaningful actions such as collecting waste paper.

Activities carried out within the “Taza Kazakhstan” project make a significant contribution to improving the environmental situation in the country.
