KazNU participates in educational exhibition in Baku
Representatives of al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited Baku, taking part in the educational exhibition "Study in Kazakhstan", organized by the networking platform IZ Community Education (Azerbaijan).
The exhibition gathered a wide audience: high school students, applicants and their parents, as well as representatives of Azerbaijani universities interested in academic cooperation.
KazNU's stand has become one of the most sought-after venues of the event. The staff of the Internationalization and Recruiting Department conducted more than 100 individual consultations with graduates of Azerbaijani schools in 2026. Azerbaijani youth showed a special interest in the content of educational programs, the language of instruction, grant opportunities and living conditions in dormitories.
Today, Kazakhstan is systematically developing the educational brand "Study in Kazakhstan", and Azerbaijan is one of the strategic directions where the demand for education in Kazakhstani universities is growing every year.
Within the framework of the exhibition, the KazNU delegation held working meetings with four recruiting companies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, discussing joint plans to support the admission process. The linguistic and cultural proximity of the two countries, as well as geographical accessibility, create a favorable environment for attracting Azerbaijani students to Kazakhstan's leading university.
The systematic work of KazNU to expand the geography of international recruiting contributes to an increase in the proportion of international students. The meetings and negotiations held in Baku have strengthened the foundation of a long-term partnership with Azerbaijan.
