KazNU students took the lead at the Pharmaceutical Olympiad
Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University worthily represented the university at the XII Republican Olympiad, held on the basis of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D.Asfendiyarov, demonstrating a high level of professional training in the educational program "Pharmaceutical Production Technology".
Participation in the Olympiad allowed students to demonstrate deep theoretical knowledge, practical skills and professional competencies in solving problems in the field of pharmaceutical production. The competition program included tasks aimed at assessing the level of training of future industry specialists, covering both theoretical and practice-oriented aspects.
According to the results of the competition, 3rd year students Fedor Pogorov and Zhania Turisbekova took the first place in the individual competition. In the team competition, the second place was awarded to the Substance team (scientific supervisor – Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Yu.A.Litvinenko), the third place was taken by the Pharmavision team, consisting of 4th year students (scientific supervisor – Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor A.K.Toktabayeva).
The results of the competition testify to their competitiveness at the national level, and also confirm the effectiveness of the educational program. The systematic and purposeful work of the faculty of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances, Natural Compounds and Polymers of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology played an important role in the training of students.
Participation in Olympiads of this level contributes to improving the quality of training for future specialists, developing academic mobility, strengthening cooperation between universities, and fostering students' sustained interest in research activities.
