GK Cup 鈥� 2026: Traditional Football Tournament at the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics
The traditional football tournament «GK Cup – 2026» was organized by the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences at 91传媒 Kazakh National University. The event was held at a high level and has become one of the most significant annual competitions, attracting great interest among students.
The main goal of the tournament is to promote a healthy lifestyle among students, strengthen unity, cohesion, and team spirit, as well as to encourage sports activity alongside academic development. The event once again demonstrated that students are well-rounded individuals capable of achieving high results not only in their studies but also in sports competitions.
During the tournament, the teams showed a high level of preparation, coordinated gameplay, and strong determination to win. Each match left a vivid impression on the audience, creating a true atmosphere of sporting spirit and fair competition.

Best Player – Bekzat Demegen
Best Defender – Erasyl Alikulov
Best Forward – Alibek Kurazov
The winners and prize holders were awarded monetary certificates from the department as a well-deserved recognition of their achievements.
This tournament not only increased students’ interest in sports but also contributed to strengthening friendship and mutual respect within the university. It is expected that such initiatives will continue in the future.
