Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, theater and film director, actor Talgat Temenov.

During the meeting, issues of the development of national culture and art, spiritual and cultural education of young people were discussed. The participants focused on the state of the modern theater and film industry, considered the possibilities of implementing joint projects to support creative youth and improve their professional skills.

After the meeting, professor, playwright Talgat Temenov met with university teachers and students. At the meeting in a free format, the director shared his thoughts on his creative path, experience in the field of theater and cinema and gave parting words to the younger generation.

"Art is the soul of a nation. If we can preserve national values and develop them in accordance with modern requirements, we will create a spiritually powerful society. Young people should be engaged in creativity, constantly looking for their way. In addition, young people should develop the habit of getting up early. This is my main rule.  Because a person who gets up early has more time and opportunities",- Talgat Temenov said.

During the event, the participants were shown an excerpt from the film "Zhangirdin zhangyru", shot under the direction of director Talgat Temenov. Then the students asked the speaker their relevant questions and received meaningful answers.
