Students of 91ý Kazakh National University participated in the Republican Marketing Olympiad
Third-year students of the “Marketing” educational program (Russian track) at 91ý Kazakh National University successfully represented their university at the Republican Student Subject Olympiad (RSSO) in Marketing, held at Narxoz University.
The Olympiad was organized under the theme “SUSTAINABLE MARKETING: ENGAGEMENT & TRUST CHALLENGES” and aimed to develop students’ professional competencies in sustainable marketing, analytics, and strategic thinking. The competition brought together top student teams from leading universities across Kazakhstan, creating a highly competitive academic environment and a platform for exchanging modern marketing ideas.

The Olympiad consisted of two stages: a qualifying round and a final round. During the first stage, participants prepared a research project on sustainable university development, including ESG initiative analysis, student engagement assessment, and trust-building strategies. The project required the application of various marketing tools such as content analysis, field research, data interpretation, and the development of practical recommendations.
The final stage was held online and included a team video presentation, defense of research results, and solving a business case within a limited time. Participants demonstrated not only theoretical knowledge but also critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills.
The “ONE WORLD CREW” team demonstrated a high level of preparation, showing strong understanding of sustainable marketing trends, ESG principles, and effective communication strategies. Their work particularly emphasized increasing student engagement and strengthening trust in university initiatives.
Participation in the Olympiad became an important milestone in the students’ professional development, allowing them to apply their knowledge in practice, enhance analytical and presentation skills, and gain valuable experience.
