A new investment bridge for Kazakh-Chinese cooperation

A meeting with a delegation from the EMBA program of Tsinghua University, one of the world's leading higher education institutions, was held at the Farabi International Business School of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The delegation, led by Tsinghua University EMBA Industry Alliance / Qinglian Capital representative Ju Fugui, included 19 outstanding graduates representing more than 20 large companies in fields such as energy, infrastructure, high technology, logistics and medicine. The guests were greeted by the director of Farabi International Business School, Zharaskhan Saryev, and the meeting was attended by members of the Advisory Board of the business school, representatives of the academic and business community.

The purpose of the meeting was to develop joint projects, strengthen partnership between business schools and establish investment cooperation.

During the event, A.Akylbai, Regional Director of NC Kazakh Invest JSC and Head of EMBA & DBA educational programs, presented a presentation that revealed the key advantages of Kazakhstan as an investment hub in Eurasia, including its strategic location, developed infrastructure and favorable business climate, which aroused particular interest among the guests.

In turn, the Chinese side presented a number of companies ready for active cooperation; among them, the DoBe investment company expressed its readiness to consider the possibility of opening an office in Kazakhstan in the areas of investment, consulting and incubation of startups.

Farabi International Business School strives to become a reliable golden bridge connecting the business communities, academic science and innovative projects of the two countries, and Tsinghua University, which initiated this meeting, is widely known as the alma mater of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.
