Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received a delegation led by Vice-rector of Xinjiang Medical University Mukiyat Ulaskhan.

During the meeting, the parties touched upon topical issues in the field of medicine and discussed ways to jointly implement common scientific projects. The possibilities of cooperation, support for young scientists and expansion of international scientific relations were also discussed.

The head of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, informed about the achievements of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare at KazNU. In his speech, the rector noted the importance of joint projects in the field of science and education for both sides.

"In addition to Kazakhstani students, young people from abroad study at the medical faculty of al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The educational institution continues to work successfully, providing students with high-quality medical education. Also, as part of the II KazNU campus development plan, a new university polyclinic will be built, which will provide young students with the opportunity to practice",- said the rector.

In turn, Mukiyat Ulaskhan expressed interest in implementing joint projects with KazNU. "KazNU is one of the prestigious educational institutions in Central Asia. We are interested in sharing our experience in the field of medical science and education. I am confident that in the future we will strengthen academic ties between students and young scientists and bring mutually beneficial cooperation to a new level",- said Mukiyat Ulaskhan.
