On May 14, 2026, a university forum entitled «The New Constitution and Modern Society» was held at the library of 91��ý Kazakh National University and organized by the Faculty of Law. The event was dedicated to discussing the significance of constitutional reforms in Kazakhstani society, the principles of the rule of law, and the role of the Constitution in the development of modern society. The forum brought together university faculty members, young scholars, students, and master’s degree students. During the event, participants widely discussed issues related to the development of legal culture, the strengthening of civil society, and the promotion of the rule of law. Faculty members of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law also took an active part in the forum, sharing their opinions and academic perspectives. The Head of the Department, G.A. Kuanaliyeva, expressed her view that education and science, especially legal research, play a particularly important role in building a just society today. During the forum, participants exchanged views on the impact of constitutional reforms on socio-political development, mechanisms for the protection of human rights, ensuring environmental security, and improving financial and legal relations.
The university forum became an important platform for academic discussion and provided participants with valuable opportunities to exchange experiences and perspectives. At the conclusion of the event, the participants emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to promote constitutional values, enhance legal culture, and foster respect for the law among young people.
